  1. The sample tunes that go with PIANOMAN and PLAYER PIANO have been
  2. compressed by the ARC program.  To de-archive them, do the following:
  3.  
  4.    Copy the .ARC file (e.g., "TUNES.ARC") onto another disk, along
  5.        with the program ARCX.COM
  6.  
  7.    Invoke ARCX with the name of the archive -- e.g., "ARCX TUNES"
  8.  
  9. ARCX will extract all of the files.  It is also possible to extract
  10. just one file -- for help with ARCX, just type "ARCX/H".  Each ARC
  11. file has an associated DIR file (e.g., "TUNES.DIR"), so you can see
  12. just what's in the ARChive.  Note that though TUNES.ARC is only 43K
  13. in size, it contains 184K of files -- that's why you copy it to a
  14. blank disk before de-ARChiving it!
